New Tax Credit for 1st-Time Home Buyers in Colorado.

This new Tax Credit is different than the $8,000 Nationwide program that expired in April, 2010(except for certain military personnel - see below)

The new Tax Credit is called a Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC). Click Here to see an example of how much this MCC program could increase the Tax Refund for a 1st-Time Home Buyer.

The new Tax Credit is NOT a one -time credit, it will continue YEAR AFTER YEAR, as long as your home is your primary residence! Contact an Air Academy FCU Mortgage Loan Officer for all the details.

NOTICE: THE $8,000 TAX CREDIT HAS BEEN EXTENDED FOR CERTAIN MILITARY PERSONNEL. If a soldier has served at least 90 days outside the US between Dec 31^st 08 and May 1^st 2010. They are most likely eligible for the current tax credit if they have a contract by April 30, 2011 and close by June 30^th 2011. (contact your Tax Advisor for details)
